It looks like Bethesda is experiencing some issues trying to bring the popular Fallout 4 mods to the PlayStation 4 version of the game. Following Reports of Bethesda Facing Serious Issues, Fallout 4 Mod Support for PlayStation 4 Has Been Delayed The feature was set to release this week for the PlayStation 4 version of the 2015’s most critically acclaimed action role-playing game, but it has now been delayed for an unspecified period of time due to unknown reasons. Last month, the American video game publisher released the Fallout 4 mods on Xbox One, allowing players to install and play mods on their consoles. When Fallout 4 update 1.8 is live for PS4, we’ll let you know.Bethesda has announced that the introduction of Fallout 4 mods to the PlayStation 4 version of the game has been delayed.
A Sentry Bot firing dual Gatling Lasers will no longer cause the audio to cut out. Fixed an issue in which some Mods images would not load when scrolling quickly. Fixed an issue in which Library and/or Favorite Mods categories would not display correctly in specific situations. Fixed a rare crash that would occur when a Mod had an unexpected data structure. Doubled the amount of browse-able tiles in the Mods menu. Cannot rate “WIP” Work in Progress Mods, and Mods can now only be rated after they have been downloaded. Fixed an issues with spaces in Mods search queries. Resolved an occasional crash when exiting to the Main Menu, and trying to start a New Game. Fixed an issue in which some sound effects would not persist after reloading in an area. In addition to PS4 mod support, Fallout 4 update 1.8 includes these fixes: This mod adds a new radio station – “Raider Radio (Restored)” which includes all music / stories from the Nuka World DLC in-game raider radio station and is available at all times regardless of which ending of the Nuka World DLC has been selected. Changes the names of gun mods to include a descriptor of the gun type they were originally for. Changes the construction cost of all available gun mods to remove all perk and material costs. Allows you to apply most gun mods to most guns from the base game, Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka-World. Wanted to have enough resources to build? Well, ask no more: this mod adds a small toolbox full of 10,000 units of each building component (plants not included), located right next to Sanctuary’s workshop. Here’s a look at a few, all of which come in at less than 1MB: So far there’s 11 PS4 Mods available, though more will undoubtedly be added in the coming days and weeks. This means PS4 Mods can be uploaded to, but as they note, “PS4 Mods are Plugins only. 
Ahead of the game update adding PS4 mod support to Fallout 4, Bethesda has updated Fallout 4’s Creation Kit to support mods on PS4.
